Our last full day in Honruras began especially early so that we could return to La Ceibita, the small town that’s home to Keilin (above center) the young girl who our youth group sponsors through Por Que No Tu.
Today was a bit different, as we waved to some of our new school friends in the village but otherwise made connections with new friends and got to see the commercial and recreational side of Honduras.
Today was an early day, starting with breakfast at 6:15 a.m., so we could spend as much time as possible with students at Instituto Gubernamental Soberania in San Antonio De Cortes for the third straight day.
Today, we began with a filling breakfast and a devotional. After breakfast we went to Instituto Gubernamental Soberania in San Antonio De Cortese, 15 minutes down the mountain from Por Que No Tu, to paint.
Today, we began our adventure to Honduras with a small midnight gathering at Mt, Vernon Christian Church. Here, we collected all our possessions and thoughts, and after a small prayer we headed off on our adventure.
