About this trip

Members of the Mt. Vernon team will be posting daily during the missions trip, which begins shortly after midnight Sunday, Aug. 6.

About the ministry: Por Que No Tu seeks to meet the spiritual needs of children and families in Providencia and San Antonio De Cortes while attending to some of their physical needs through a sponsorship program. Led by Justin Hollinger, a Mt. Vernon member, the ministry also is expanding a ministry center in the mountains that provides training to youth, adults and pastors to help develop the next generation of leaders. 

About the team: The team includes students and recent students Emma Beiler, John Beiler, Joe Craig, Josh Craig, Hannah Keeler, Sam Zook, and Levi Zook, as well as leaders Jarrett Hostetter, Bill Pitcher, and Kirby Strohmaier.
